Senter for eiendomsutvikling og -forvaltning er en arbeids- og møteplass for undervisning og forskning innen fagområdet, basert på et samarbeid mellom flere fakulteter ved NTNU og Sintef.

Our principal objective is to develop a network centre and research school in the area of real estate and facilities management, capable of providing high quality education and knowledge for dealing with and for solving problems of strategic value for real estate owners, proprietors, facilities managers and developers, contractors and users. This includes to develop and establish a new master study in Real Estate and Facilities Management at NTNU, and to establish a doctoral programme with 5 candidates in Real Estate and Facilities Management. The Norwegian Centre for Real Estate and Facilities Management perform the foundation for a network between education, research and practice in the area of real estate and facilities management in Norway, with universities in all of the Nordic countries and in Great Britain, the Netherlands and in the USA.

Establishing the centre is done with support from the Research Council of Norway through the project "Metamorphosis 2005 - Real Estate and Facilities Management." This project is sustained by NTNU in the period of 2002 - 2006, in cooperation with several trade organisations, public and private organisations in the area, research institutes and ministries.
